Vista Trail Bikes is searching for an experienced bike mechanic to join our team in Incline Village, in North Lake Tahoe. We rent electric bikes and traditional cruisers to visitors from all over the world, running our operation for the Iconic East Shore Trail — often called America’s Most Beautiful Bikeway. Are you a bicycle mechanic who loves keeping a fleet in tip-top shape? If so, you’re in luck. Our wrenching station is fully stocked with everything you need to get your hands dirty and keep our bikes rolling. You’ll keep our bikes working like new before and after rentals, and when business demands, you’ll also rent bikes, process payments, lead rider orientations, and build bikes. Qualifications:
– Wrench Wizard: Ideally 3+ years of bike shop experience turning wrenches and spinning wheels.
– E-Bike Enthusiast: Experience with e-bikes gets you extra points!
– Neat Freak: You keep your workspace organized and tidy.
– Bike Whisperer: You have the magic touch to build, diagnose, and heal bikes.
– People Person: You’re friendly, approachable, and love chatting with people.
– Multitasking Master: You juggle tasks like a pro and can work solo or with a team.
– Hauling Hero (optional): Got a vehicle that can transport bikes — pickup, trailer hitch? Earn extra cash running the occasional bike rescue when a customer has a breakdown out on the trail.
What we offer:
– Full-time or part-time, your choice: Work three or four 10-hour days — so you get three or four days off, every single week.

Pay:
Base pay of $24–27/hr depending on experience — and on busy peak-season days.
